Christmas Beetle Ornament

This Australian beetle has been nicknamed the Christmas Beetle, simply because the adults generally emerge around Christmas time. This little creature is known for its iridescent exoskeleton and its ferocious hiss and children throughout Queensland know Christmas is just around the corner when this beetle comes out to play.
