Archival Gift Tags

State Library has proudly provided library services to the people of Queensland for more than 120 years. In 1896 the first Brisbane Library was established in William Street and remained there until 1988 when the Collection moved across the river to South Bank.

These Archival Gift Tags were used to identify the lovingly wrapped treasures from the Collection for this move. A sign of days gone by with beautiful handwriting and details.
