Robert Smith (Robin) Dods (1868 – 1920) was one of Queensland’s most innovative architects in the early years of the twentieth century. His work was influenced by the Arts and Crafts movement inspired by the writings of John Ruskin and Augustus Pugin.

The first looks at Dods’ work in the CBD and nearby suburbs, with an excursus to Wynnum; the second focuses on his domestic architecture in Brisbane’s northern and western suburbs.
